98-0001 Boeing C-32A (757-2G4) (MSN 29025/783) of the 1st Airlift Squadron, 89th Airlift Wing, US Air Force, based at Andrews AFB, Maryland, USA - at Perth Airport - 8 September 2017. The aircraft arrived at 4:22am as 'SAM338' from Diego Garcia. Seen here taking off from runway 06 at 6:48am, departing to Brisbane, using the same callsign. The aircraft was built in 1998 and test flown as N3519L before being delivered to the US Air Force as 98-0001. It was fitted with winglets in 2008. The forward area has a communications center, galley, lavatory and 10 business-class seats. The second section is a fully enclosed stateroom for the use of the primary passenger. It includes a changing area, private lavatory, separate entertainment system, two first-class swivel seats and a convertible divan that seats three and folds out to a bed. The third section contains the conference and staff facility with eight business-class seats. B-5970 Airbus A330-323X (MSN 1645) of China Southern, in special SkyTeam livery, at Perth Airport - 29 October 2017. The first official service by China Southern's newer A330-300s to Perth, configured with business, premium economy and economy seats. However, three of these newer aircraft visited earlier in the year, including B-5970, which first visited Perth on 25 May 2017.
