It stayed for 20 days, waiting for its next cargo load, then departed on 12 November 2019 back to Melbourne as VI2087. Built in 1992 as CCCP-82067, later RA-82046, for Volga-Dnepr. RA-76503 Ilyushin IL-76TD-90VD (MSN 2113422748) of Volga-Dnepr Airlines at Perth Airport – 3 June 2019. Delivered new to Volga-Dnepr in December 2011, this aircraft arrived in Perth on 24 May 2019, bringing oversized mining equipment to Perth. This is an Il-76TD with Aviadvigatel PS-90 engines and a partial glass cockpit. It was developed specially for Volga-Dnepr cargo company. VH-KKD Grumman G-164A Sea-Cat (converted Ag-Cat) (MSN 286) operated by Red Baron Seaplanes (Far North Queensland Airwork Pty Ltd) on the Swan River, near Barrack Street Jetty, Perth - 2 June 2018. Photo © David Eyre. Operates commercial sightseeing flights. Built in 1964 as an Ag-Cat crop sprayer, registered N724Y. In 1989, it was imported into Australia and registered VH-KKD. The chemical hopper was removed and two passenger seats were installed. In 1992, it was converted to a seaplane 'Sea-Cat'. VH-KKD was used in the 1996 movie 'The Phantom', together with another Sea-Cat, VH-CCK, with filming taking place in north Queensland. In 2006, it was acquired by Red Baron Seaplanes and based in Townsville, QLD and was moved by road to Perth in March 2016.
