N356KD Boeing 747-446BCF (MSN 26356/1026) of Western Global Airlines, at Perth Airport – 5 December 2018. Bringing concert gear for the band ’21 Pilots’. Flight KD709 from Los Angeles via Honolulu and Cairns, taxying in to park on bay 156 at 11:05am. First visit to Perth as N356KD, though it has visited before as N458MC. Originally delivered in 1994 as a passenger aircraft to Japan Air Lines as JA8911, it was converted to a freighter at Xiamen, China in 2007. Stored at Victorville, California in November 2010 and registered N356NA. A couple of months later, it was leased to Atlas Air and reregistered N458MC – it visited Perth in August 2013.
