VH-VUM Boeing 737-8BK (cn 29675/2414) of Pacific Blue, on finals to runway 21 at Perth.

Note the new “Airline of Virgin Blue” titles on the forward fuselage. Previously, this aircraft had “flypacificblue.com” in large letters along the whole fuselage.

The Virgin Blue group of airlines is soon to release its new livery, so this seems to be an interim scheme.

NZ7572 Boeing 757-2K2 (cn 26634/545) of 40 Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air Force, based at RNZAF Base Auckland at Whenuapai, New Zealand.

On finals to runway 24 at Perth Airport at 13:34, using callsign “KIWI 525”, arriving from its home base at Whenuapai, New Zealand.

It departed the following morning at 08:52.

It was originally delivered to Transavia Airlines of the Netherlands in 1993 as PH-TKB, and was one of two acquired by the RNZAF in June 2003 to replace a pair of Boeing 727-100s.

These 757s were modified to add a cargo door, cargo handling equipment and quick change configuration, amongst other changes. NZ7572 was re-delivered to the RNZAF in February 2009 after conversion.
