VH-VXQ Boeing 737-838 (MSN 33723/1335) ‘Retro Roo II’ of Qantas, in 1959-1961 retro livery, at Perth Airport – Mon 16 November 2015. To mark the 95th anniversary of Qantas, this 737 was repainted in the livery worn by Qantas’ first jet aircraft, the Boeing 707, during 1959-61. It is seen here on its first visit to Perth suince being painted in this livery, landing on runway 24 at 8:35pm as QF599 from Adelaide. It departed the next morning as QF650 to Brisbane at 7:47am.
