VH-FNY Fokker 100 of Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, named ‘Geographe Bay’, at Perth Airport, Western Australia – 21 April 2023. Climbing after take-off at 1:39pm as flight VA1855 to Kalgoorlie. Built in 1994, delivered to Midway Airlines as N108ML. Sold to Skywest Airlines in November 2002 – their first Fokker 100. Skywest was acquired by Virgin Australia in April 2013 and renamed Virgin Australia Regional Airlines in May 2013. VH-FNY was the last F100 repainted in Virgin Australia livery in October 2018. Operated its final revenue service on 4 May 2023. Flew to Port Hedland on 5 May 2023 and Seletar (Singapore) on 6 May 2023, to be stripped of spares by Fokker Services. Photo © David Eyre.
