Air New Zealand operated Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on the Auckland/Perth services, instead of the usual Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners from 29 December 2019 through to 28 March 2020, due to ongoing issues with the 787’s Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines.
