- C-FXAI Bombardier BD-700-2A12 Global 7500 (MSN 70006) operated by Bombardier Inc, at Perth Airport – 14 March 2019. *First visit to Perth by a Global 7500*. The first production Global 7500, owned by Jetcraft and Stonebriar Commercial Finance, but leased by Bombardier as a demonstrator for a world sales tour. It is seen here on approach to runway 24 at 5:11pm, arriving from Sydney. It departed at 11:29am the next day to Essendon. The Global 7500 has a range of 7,700 nautical miles or endurance of 12 hours, enabling it to fly Hong Kong to New York or Singapore to San Francisco. Production is sold out through to 2022 (110 aircraft), and the aircraft costs just under A$100 million. On 4 March 2019, C-FXAI set a new distance record for a purpose-designed business jet, flying direct from Singapore to Tucson, Arizona, a distance of 8,152nm (15,100km), in 16 hours.
